We Are Pleased To Announce Our Mobile-Friendly Site: ParvoBuster.mobi

ParvoBuster.mobi - Our New Mobile-Friendly Site

The new mobile-friendly version of our Parvo Treatment site is now available.

The site is called ParvoBuster.mobi and it offers a quick and easy way of ordering one of our ParvoBuster® Viral Smack-Down Kits from your cell/mobile phone.

Although this new website doesn’t provide a copy of our one-of-a-kind Product Calculator, the kit is suitable for the vast majority of people whose dogs are suffering from the Canine Parvovirus.

You can see how many dogs one of these Parvo treatment kits can treat in the following table:

Dog’s Weight Dogs Treated
Less than 3 lbs.Under 1.36 kg. 50
3 – 10 lbs.1.36 – 4.54 kg. 20
11 – 20 lbs.4.55 – 9.07 kg. 10
21 – 100 lbs.9.08 – 45.36 kg. 6
101 – 200 lbs.45.37 – 90.72 kg. 4
Over 200 lbs.Over 90.72 kg. 3

You can use this ParvoBuster® Viral Smack-Down Kit for treating dogs that have Parvo (i.e. they’ve already tested positive) or who are displaying Parvo symptoms, as well as for giving to dogs that have been exposed to or infected by the virus but who aren’t currently showing symptoms.

Since many dogs get Parvo shortly after being vaccinated, this kit is particularly useful in such situations since it provides a way for you to detox your dog from all the chemicals in the vaccines. (The same applies if your dog has been chemically-dewormed.).

Many dogs (mainly puppies) with Parvo also suffer from parasites (e.g. hookworms, tapeworms), so you’ll be glad to know that this kit will help eliminate most common worms and parasites too.

You can find all you need to know (e.g. costs, shipping information) at ParvoBuster.mobi.

* Please take care – just because ParvoBuster.mobi is a mobile site does not mean you should use it anytime, anywhere. In particular, if you’re driving, then pull over so you can place your order safely. It may take you a few minutes, but who’s going to care for your poorly doggie if you have an accident?

ParvoBusters, What Have You Done For Me Lately?

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | No Comments »

Glad you asked.

We’ve been busy trying to put even a tiny dent in the Parvo onslaught. As, we’ve reported on previous occasions, the Parvovirus is getting stronger (i.e. it is harder to treat so, the single bottle of Parvaid that was helpful has long since stopped working as of 2007), it takes a number of weapons to defeat Parvo, and it seems that dogs are contracting the virus a lot easier than before.

People are vaccinating exposed/infected dogs thus creating localized Parvo outbreaks almost instantly. Remember we’ve already reported that Parvo is ubiquitous. That means Parvo is everywhere and anywhere. Vaccinations are adding to the problem.

In order to treat Parvo at home, in the past we recommended using a Parvaid treatment kit (i.e. Parvaid and several other products). Now, while we had success with this approach, we had reservations. Parvaid and the other Amber Tech products do have questionable ingredients that could cause additional complications or worst.

For example, Parvaid contains:

  • Peppermint
  • Spearmint
  • Chamomile
  • Plantain
  • Echinacea
  • Oregon Grape
  • Rose Hips
  • Yarrow
  • Garlic ***
  • Goldenseal
  • Hibiscus Flower
  • Ethyl Alcohol ***
  • Distilled Water

Long story short: garlic is known to cause additional vomiting and diarrhea – the absolute last thing you want to increase as this will cause dehydration which can be fatal. Even worst is the alcohol, as this substance is toxic in any amount. Amber Technology, issues a warning that Parvaid and the Parvaid companion products MUST NOT be used on animals with liver or pancreas conditions.

Now of course most animal owners will not be aware of these conditions and by using Parvaid, et al, they could kill their pets inadvertently.

This was always a nagging frustrating thought that the treatment for Parvo could cause so many potential extra problems. We asked Amber Tech countless times to change the formula but they always came up with irrelevant excuses and consequently these dangers remain. For this reason as well as many others, we no longer recommend Parvaid and its companion products for the home treatment of Parvo.

Not to worry, we are proud to introduce our own truly chemical-free safe and very affordable Parvaid alternative.

Parvo Emergency Tea – What It Is, And What It Isn’t

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | No Comments »

The Canine Parvo virus very often attacks at the worst possible time (not that there’s ever a good moment for your dog to be attacked by the Canine Parvovirus, needless to say) – you might find it is 3:00am on a Sunday morning, and the vet’s clinic is shut.

In which case, what can you do?

You might already be aware that puppies suffering from Parvo often dehydrate extremely fast, which is why veterinarians will likely put them on an intravenous drip, but of course intravenous drips usually aren’t something you are able to simply purchase at your local supermarket.

And if you have no idea about the risks associated with dehydration, a fast research session using the web will soon point you in the right direction.

The good thing is that there is a home hydration therapy that is, in most cases, at least as efficacious as IV fluids as well as subcutaneous fluids …

… and it’s called the Parvo Emergency Tea Recipe.

What is it?

It’s something you can make in the home, utilizing ingredients you can easlily purchase at most sizable supermarkets or drug stores, and it’s intended to accomplish two or three assorted jobs.

Firstly, it is a natural electrolyte liquid that can help prevent your sick puppy from getting dehydrated. (We know a number of people, among them veterinarians, may well advocate using Gatorade or Pedialyte for this, although our own experience indicates that these two fluids may cause extra vomiting, which is the last thing you desire if your doggy has the Canine Parvovirus.)

The second thing is, it may well actually calm down throwing up – without the need for chemical-based substances which could induce, not surprisingly, additional health problems.

Third, some of the ingredients in the Parvo Emergency Tea can help supercharge your doggie’s immune system, which will certainly be under heavy attack from the Canine Parvovirus.

Now, there are several things that you need to know about this emergency tea, the most important of which is that you need to administer it each and every hour, and that does include both night and day, until you are able to commence full treatment for the Parvo.

You see, you’re pretty much behaving like a human IV drip, and one of the keys to the treatment of Parvo is always to give limited amounts of liquid regularly – since not only is dehydration a danger with this virus, but so is overhydration too.

But a lot more important than that, you must realise that the Parvo Emergency Tea is NOT designed to take care of the Canine Parvo virus – whilst it does attempt to simulate the Parvaid product using only easily-obtained items, it’s not even close to being potent enough to help remedy your suffering dog.

You should consequently NOT count on this tea recipe to get your sick dog better again – it was created to buy you precious time and sustain him until you can get the right treatments started (and we would, needless to say, highly recommend the Parvo Treatment Kit).

While it’s true a really small number of dogs do manage to survive using only the Parvo Tea (coupled with tons of TLC), we’ve found this happens in about 0.1% of cases – and that’s approximately one puppy out of every thousand!

Are you ready to bet that your family dog is the single lucky pet in a 1,000?

We know we wouldn’t – our dogs happen to be way too important to us.

So, though we’d definitely recommend you to make and give the Parvo Emergency Tea as soon as you notice any of the classic Parvo symptoms (i.e. not eating, not drinking, being lethargic / not playing, dehydration, depression, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, vomiting, chills or fever), please, for the sake of your doggy, make sure you get him treated instantly!

We had one customer who had a doggie which died just five hours following the very first attack of diarrhea, which just goes to show how potent the Canine Parvo virus has become. This is so quick that you scarcely have enough time to respond, which is one of the reasons we strongly encourage every dog owner to keep a Home Parvo Treatment Kit around constantly – just in case.

What Is Parvo?

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | No Comments »

The term Parvo means really tiny – the virus cannot be seen with the naked eye. To give you an idea of how small it is, visualize 1 fluid ounce, which is 2 tablespoons. That seems small, right? Well that’s huge in Parvo terms.

Here’s what you are dealing with: 1 gram of Parvo infected material contains 95 million virus particles, and yet it only takes 100 particles to infect your pet.

Oh, as a refresher, 1 gram = 0.0352739619 ounces. So 1 gram is almost nothing, yet in that single gram of infected feces, for example, there are enough virus particles to infect all of the dogs in your neighborhood … and there would be plenty left over for several more neighborhoods!

There are many types of this virus, but the one that you are probably looking for is the type that affects animals. Parvo in Humans, sometimes called 5th disease, Parvo virus b19 or Parvo b19, is a completely different virus that pertains to humans only, i.e. animals cannot catch this, and the animal version is not contagious to humans.

Canine Parvovirus has had several variations. It is now on its 5th version, and this Parvo 2c strain is by far the deadliest we’ve seen so far.

The virus is highly contagious and spreads via infected bodily fluids (vomit, feces, nose-to-nose contact, mucus, saliva, urine, etc.) Even you can carry and spread the virus on your clothing, shoes, car tires, etc.

Now, it is not air-borne in the strictest sense of the term, but if you have infected feces in your area and the wind blows, then the particles can travel to your yard and you too will have Parvo on your property.

By the same token, if you are currently Parvo-free (that’s excellent), then if a bird or insect, or other critters such as raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, etc. walk in infected feces or, as in the case of small mammals such as raccoons, ferrets, etc., these guys can carry, transport, and drop off the virus particles wherever they go. So, it is really not practical to disinfect your yard as you’ll never know when the virus will be transported back again.

This is really just a short introduction about Parvo. There are many different aspects that you could study. We are going to cut this short, because we have another site, What Is Parvovirus, that takes a much more detailed look at this virus.

As a word of caution, if you do not understand just how aggressive this virus is, just look online at our many sites where we talk about how this virus has evolved, and it seems to get worse each day. More and more people are losing their battle with the virus, and largely because they spend too much time in research mode vs. treatment mode.

So, if you think your dog has Parvo, then get the help you need at our Parvo Treatment site. You will get help with Parvo Home Remedies and organic Parvovirus Treatment options.

Parvo Hotspots: Are You Safe?

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | 2 Comments »

Parvo outbreaks and hotspots are on the increase. There is no doubt about that. You hear about it all of the time. Talk to your friends and neighbors – they’ve probably experienced or heard many horror stories of Parvo wiping out entire litters, for example.

A question we see often is, “Are there any places safe from a Parvo attack?”

Unfortunately, we hate to be the bearer of bad news; it seems unlikely that you will find many Parvo-safe zones, that is if you limit your search to Planet Earth.

Let us take a closer look to find any patterns.

The following is the Top 10 Parvo areas of the US. Now, the list represents the orders sent to the list of states based on the population size of the state. This list does NOT represent sheer order numbers by state.

These are currently the worst states for Parvo in terms of the population size of the state:

  1. Arizona
  2. New Mexico
  3. Nevada
  4. West Virginia
  5. Texas
  6. Alabama
  7. Hawaii
  8. Arkansas
  9. California
  10. Tennessee

Now, in terms of sheer numbers of orders, then the list would look more like this:

  1. California
  2. Texas
  3. Arizona
  4. Georgia
  5. Florida
  6. North Carolina
  7. Ohio
  8. Tennessee
  9. Alabama
  10. Illinois

Either way, Parvo in the US is really bad right now. Almost daily we see the headlines (you can see more details in our Breaking News section) in all of the states, and many places are struggling with this problem.

You might think that really cold places could be the answer. What about Alaska, that gets plenty of freezing weather quite often, which should give Parvo a challenge, right?

Wrong. Parvo seems to thrive in freezing weather. It lives in the ground and all you need is rain or melted snow and it comes right back up to the surface, refreshed and ready for its next victim. Therefore, freezing temps (32F or 0C) won’t stop Parvo.

What about desert heat? That should slow him down.

Nope. Parvo is more than capable of surviving in the deserts of Arizona, California, and even in Nevada, where some say it seems like the sun is 10 feet above your head in the summer. In fact, boiling water (212F or 100F) is like a romp in the hot tub for Parvo. So, you can try to boil the virus, but he will just come back stronger than ever.

How about islands? That should be safe.

Sorry. Parvo has hit all types of island states. It has hit Hawaii, the United Kingdom (e.g. England, Ireland), the Philippines, the Caribbean (e.g. Aruba, Trinidad & Tobago, Puerto Rico, etc.) and in some of these areas, it is very remote with few services or resources. Even if people had the cash and wanted to take their animals to the vet, often these people are in short supply, if any are available at all.

How about Europe (e.g. France, Italy, etc.)? Maybe Parvo has not reached them yet?

Keep dreaming. The current ├╝ber over-the-top 2c Strain of Parvo originated in Europe in 2000. It is definitely there in full force.

What about Asia, is Parvo a problem there too?

Yep. Thailand, Malaysia, India, it does not matter – Parvo is in the Asian countries as well.

OK, how about really faraway places like Australia or New Zealand? It could not have gotten there?

Wrong again. Parvo is in faraway places too.

The point is, Parvo is probably in most places. You may not have heard of any outbreaks in your particular area, but that certainly does not mean it hasn’t hit yet. It could literally be in your back yard and you would not even know it.

The virus is really tiny, which is where it gets its name from. One last bit of bad news, as you might not be able to take much more: Parvo is super-concentrated, amongst all of the other bad things.

1 gram of infected feces contains 95 million virus particles. It takes as little as 100 particles to infect your dog.

Put this in perspective. 1 gram = 0.0352739619 ounces

Don’t get caught with your pants down. Once this virus strikes, it will be an extreme struggle to get your dog back on his feet again. Find out how you can sleep at night and have peace of mind knowing that you will have some effective tools at your disposal to provide your dog with the best Parvo protection available.

If your dog is sick with ANY of these symptomsSymptoms of Canine Parvovirus: lethargy, lack of playfulness, vomit (often starting as an off-white mucus, turning to a yellow frothy vomit), diarrhea (usually foul-smelling and often bloody), dehydration, depression, fever, not eating, not drinking., please do not allow him to suffer for a minute longer. We need to act quickly and get him a Parvo Treatment kit now.

You can count on the ParvoBuster team to bring you current info on this heinous virus.

Parvo Treatment – Do I Have Time?

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | 2 Comments »

The short answer to this is NO; time is definitely against you and your pet. If you look at our site, you’ll notice our tag line is: Who will win the race against Parvo? This is there to help remind people that Parvo is very fast acting and there is not a lot of time for long drawn-out decision making.

You need to remember that your dog may have just started showing symptoms, but in reality he has already been under attack for up to two weeks. The Parvo incubation period is anywhere from 3 – 15 days. That means, when your dog was first infected, he had not shown any symptoms yet; however, the virus was busy at work looking for food sources such as your dog’s bone marrow. A few days later, the virus is moving on to other easy targets and will end up attacking your dog’s intestines. At this stage your dog will start to feel this attack and little by little he will begin to show the classic Parvo symptoms:

  • Lethargy
  • Listlessness
  • Loss of appetite and thirst
  • Vomiting
  • Dehydration
  • Diarrhea (with and without blood)
  • No play drive
  • Depression
  • No energy (he may sleep most of the day and night and only get up to use the bathroom)

So, the point here is, once you see ANY of the above symptoms, you must go into rapid treatment mode. We’ve seen evidence and spoken to lots of people that are spending days going to site after site, looking for solutions to a Parvo outbreak – when they could more wisely have spent that time taking steps to get their dog treated.

This is a fallacy: “There’s plenty of time to deal with this virus” – nothing could be further from the truth. This virus attacks and kills dogs anywhere from a few hours after you see the first symptom to a few short days later.

So, here’s what you can do:

  1. If your dog is sick now, then immediately start him on the Parvo Home Remedies which will keep him going until you get a full Parvo Treatment kit.
  2. After you have administered the home remedies for Parvo for at least 12 hours, then you will have some time to do additional reading.
  3. Get a FREE copy of our Parvo Treatment 101 Guide. It is fast and easy to download, just like an MP3 file.
  4. Once your products have arrived via FedEx, then start the treatment straight away – no waiting – just start moving.
  5. If you still need more to read, then you can also visit our main site: ParvoBuster.com.

Home Treatment For Parvo

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | 31 Comments »

You have a sick dog or puppy and you think it is Canine Parvovirus (or just Parvo). How do you know for sure? How to treat Parvo at home?

These are very good and very common questions that we hear almost daily, especially since about 2007 when the 2c Strain of Parvo started going around.

First, just to make sure that we’re on the same page, let’s recap what are the signs of Parvo to look for:

  • Depression
  • Lethargy
  • Listlessness
  • Loss of appetite
  • Loss of thirst
  • Weight loss will be very visible in small dogs
  • Vomiting over and over
  • Dehydration
  • Diarrhea (very foul smelling)
  • Bloody diarrhea (spots, streaks, gushing, any of these)
  • No play drive, i.e. very unresponsive to normal activities
  • Completely drained with no energy (sleeps most of the time)
  • He may only be able get up for a rare bathroom break
  • He may have a fever (103F / 39.44C or more)
  • He may have chills

If you see ANY thing that looks like that, then your dog has Parvo and you don’t have time to dilly-dally around.

How To Treat Parvo At Home?

This is really the heart of the matter. Indeed it is very possible to treat your sick Parvo dogs and Parvo puppies at home using easy-to-cope-with Parvo home remedies.

The main problems with Parvo are two-fold: once your dog stops eating, refuses water, has started vomiting and diarrhea, he will become dehydrated and hypoglycemic very quickly. These two conditions can be a death mill for your pet. They must be addressed immediately – time is crucial with Parvo. One day could be the difference between survival and death.

Hydration can be easily achieved at home without needles for IV fluids or other costly procedures.

Our Parvo Emergency Tea makes for a natural electrolyte replenishing fluid. It has to be given EVERY hour both day and night in order for this to be effective.

Just to make this abundantly clear, the tea CANNOT treat the Parvo, but it can do an excellent job at rehydrating your dog and helping to settle his stomach, which may stop or slow down the vomiting.

How to tell if your dog is dehydrated? These couple of steps will work for most breeds of dogs.

  1. Look at his gums. If they are pale pink or white, then he is dehydrated and you must administer the tea ASAP.
  2. You can also pull a small amount of skin (from the back of his neck) up and twist (BE GENTLE and don’t pull too much); if it goes back very quickly, then he is probably not dehydrated, whereas if it takes a long time, then give him the tea ASAP.
  3. Now, these two tests may not work for some breeds: if the gums are very dark normally, as with Chows, or if they have really baggy skin, like Shar Peis, then you might have a harder time with these tests. However, the tea can’t hurt them, so if you gave it to them because they are not drinking on their own, then there should not be a problem – just follow the dosage guide based on the dog’s weight.

Hypoglycemia results when dogs stop eating. Many complications can happen (these are above and beyond the many problems that the Parvo causes). These complications can even be more serious than the Parvo itself. So, needless to say, this is a complicated aspect of Parvo and unfortunately cannot be properly addressed in a short article.

In order to deal with the hypoglycemia and to knock down the Parvo virus, you must get a Parvovirus Treatment Kit. This will address many of the Parvo symptoms such as secondary infections, repairing damage caused by the virus, boosting your dog’s immune system to help him fight the virus, etc.

Once you get your Gold Parvo Treatment Kit, you will then qualify for our FREE 24 x 7 phone coaching program that has helped hundreds and hundreds get their animals back on their feet again.

We will be in constant contact with you for the duration of treatment, we will send you comprehensive home remedies for Parvo, and we will provide as much support as you need.

If you don’t know much about ParvoBusters, just read any of our sites and you will see that we are organic and chemical-free. We believe that life is important and we do what we can to save animals. We are not hypocritical as some sites that claim to care about animals, but will freely boast about their hunting and fishing prowess. Nope, you won’t find that on any of our sites as needless killing of animals is just not within our nature.

When it comes to healing animals, it is hard not get fired up about some of the blatant injustices that can be easily found all over the Internet. Always be cautious as there are many unscrupulous individuals out there and they don’t have your pet’s best interest at heart.

We always have up-to-date home remedies for Parvo and we will do our best to help you out of your Parvo crisis.

ParvoBusters vs. The Rest

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | No Comments »

What really makes ParvoBusters different and how do we stand out?

It is a fact that you can search the Internet to find out about Parvo and there will not be a shortage of sites offering all kinds of info on the subject. The key for you is, just how accurate, reliable, and timely is that info?

We’ve looked at many other sites offering info, advice, and other resources. We’ve found that most sites offer info that is basically useless. Those sites are stuck in the past still talking about the same old rehashed methods from the 70′s, 80′s, and 90′s. Just look at the dates of their materials, which will give you a clue as to the age.

Parvo is now on its 5th variation. That means Parvo is constantly evolving and mutating. So why are there so many so-called experts still talking about what worked in the 70′s? It is clear that they really don’t understand what happens when a virus evolves.

When a virus evolves it is learning, finding more ways to stay alive, and acquiring more tools to provide better and stronger defenses against attacks from environmental changes to man-made substances such as antibiotics and/or vaccinations.

When Parvo first appeared in the 70′s, it did take folks by surprise and many animals lost their lives. Since then, the use of antibiotics to help counter this virus and its effects have been overused, as is usually the case, and consequently the variants of this virus have figured out how to counteract antibiotics and easily defeats Parvo vaccines.

Today’s Parvo cannot be killed with extreme temperatures: freezing or boiling, does not get rid of it.

Today’s Parvo is very contagious, spreads easily, infecting much more dogs than ever before, and can now even infect cats in the form of Feline Distemper.

So, if you have all of these new problems with this virus, why in the heck are you still talking about solutions that may have worked 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago? What is the point of that? Parvo has evolved and so should you – that is if you want to have any sort of chance at beating him at his own game.

The ParvoBuster team makes it a point to do research regularly. We have dealt with 5,997 cases of Parvo in the last couple of years so we are on the front lines. We see the changes that have occurred just in the last few months. When we help with active Parvo cases, we provide a comprehensive set of Parvo Home Remedies. We have had to refine our action plan several times to respond to the virus’ growing threat levels.

This kind of response only happens when people such as us are actively dealing with this problem. Other folks that are just sitting around talking about irrelevant solutions from years past are doing nothing to help with the current crises.

Do yourself a favor. Seek information from people who are actively dealing with this problem, i.e. people on the front lines. People that are just rehashing stuff will not be an effective source when it comes down to the wire.

If your dog is sick then you need an effective Parvo Treatment Plan. You do not need to spin your wheels wasting valuable time on useless irrelevant drivel.

If you do happen to have some time on your hands, then download our FREE Parvo Treatment 101 Guide, which will help you understand more about this animal-killing virus.

ParvoBuster Means Chemical Free

Posted in Parvo Treatment by Rae and Mark | No Comments »

We seek out chemical-free products that are kind to the earth and get the job done. The newer organic products are doing a much better job than in times past.

As you know, one of our main goals is to help pet owners deal with the Canine Parvovirus (CPV) and its many variations such the 2a, 2b, and the much more aggressive 2c Strain.

Parvo is very strong and vaccinations are just not working. We feel that you will be better served by keeping your pets healthy. If you concentrate on keeping chemicals out of his system, then you will help him to fight off many germs and parasites. To give you an idea of what you can do, please take a look at our Doggie Immune Builder Plan.

Other things you can do is to swap out your chemical-based cleaners for more eco-friendly types.

We have been very happy with the Seventh Generation line of green products. They have most areas covered: household cleaners, unscented/hypoallergenic cleaners, sensitive products for babies, feminine products, etc. We like these products because they work very, the average price is very reasonable, they do not contain harsh chemicals such as bleach, and all of their products are biodegradable.

We have a showcase of their products on our Friends Of The Planet Chemical-Free products page. There, you can see a large range of planet-friendly products for all sorts of basic cleaning.

We are trying out a couple of other green, planet-friendly products in the laundry area and we recommend that you too take a closer look:

Biokleen Laundry Liquid
  • Great on both colors and whites
  • NO phosphates and NO chlorine
  • Can be used to pre-treat tougher stains
  • 3x concentrated formula (a tiny capful will clean your entire load completely, i.e. 2 ounces)
  • This is cost-effective!
  • No skin/allergies problems with Biokleen Laundry Liquid
  • 64 ounce bottles means less product package on multiple orders (this comes in a 6-pack and will last for months)
  • Clean citrus smell (orange & grapefruit)
Sun & Earth Fabric Softener
  • Safe on all clothes
  • NO harsh chemicals
  • Sun & Earth Fabric Softener is hypoallergenic
  • Long Lasting formula
  • Good packaging – handy 6-packs
  • Fresh laundry smell

Often people are afraid to try the green cleaning products because they think they won’t work. Perhaps when these products were introduced, they may not have preformed as well as their chemical-based counterparts, but due to a renewed interest and consumers demanding green products that get the job done without adding unnecessary pollution, we now have a wider range of effective eco-friendly products.

The two products showcased above: both have no harsh chemicals, are safe on your clothing, produce no allergenic reactions, and are very concentrated, i.e. you only need to use a small amount to get fantastic results.

We get everything delivered and therefore we save gas as well as this helps to reduce our own carbon footprint. These two products are available on Amazon Prime, which means FREE shipping.

As you know, any liquid products can really add weight and dramatically increase shipping costs. If you are not already a member of the Amazon Prime Program, you are missing out. We save a ton on shipping every year. We ordered these products and they came via FedEx within a couple of days and were intact with no damage.

Parvo Busters, who are they and what is ParvoBuster.com all about?

We are a small NPO operating under our parent company, Friends Of The Planet, Inc. (organic solutions, green/planet-friendly products, renewable energy sources, etc.). We research organic (chemical-free) products to help solve many of the toughest problems.

ParvoBuster came about when we were looking for ways to save animals, in particular dogs, from unnecessary pain or suffering. We always wanted to work in an area where we could do something positive for animals.

We’ve rescued several dogs and for a while did dog fostering until homes could be found. This was very difficult as it is hard to adopt these dogs when you’ve begun to bond with them. So this, coupled with the fact that we could easily end up with hundreds of dogs, made up our minds that our skills and talents could be utilized in a more productive manner.

We searched the Internet for a solution and we came across a couple of products that claimed to help treat the Canine Parvovirus. This looked very promising as it turned out in the late 90′s we had three of our then five Chihuahuas come down with Parvo, one after another.

At that time, there were no alternative Parvo treatments readily available so we had to take each pup to the vet. In 1997-1998, it cost us over $700 USD to treat all three of them. We thought that was expensive, but there was no other choice and we would have not then or now even contemplated euthanasia as an option. We were very fortunate in that we saved them and they made a full recovery.

After having gone through that nightmarish ordeal, we felt very excited to have found a home treatment for Parvo, as the vet’s treatment for Parvo has skyrocketed – today, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 USD to over $10,000 USD, per dog! We’ve heard that people are expected to pay thousands for each dog, make large up-front payments, and settle a big bill promptly, i.e. be prepared to write a blank check. Otherwise the vet will strongly push for euthanasia when people cannot afford to spend four or five thousand in vet hospital bills.

This is very sad to hear when people have such bleak choices presented to them.

Well, we found two products that claimed to treat Parvo: the first one we found was ParvoGuard, which was a big disappointment, and we will soon have a detailed report of our findings for this product and the company behind it; now the other product that we found was Parvaid.

What a big difference! Long-story-short, we began to write about this herbal product and have sold it on our ParvoBuster.com site for some time now.

We’ve dealt with 5,997 cases of the Parvovirus and just in the span of a couple of years, we’ve seen this virus mutate and become harder and harder to cope with.

In times past, just a few years ago, Parvaid was more than enough to get your dog back on his feet.

Next, we had to pair this product with an herbal antibiotic/anti-parasitic called Vibactra Plus, and this worked well for a short while.

We then had to package a third herbal product, Life Cell Immune Support (immune system booster and de-tox agent), and since many Parvo dogs have a fever, we also had to start including a doggie fever and pain reducer, Doggie Pain Relief.

Just when we thought that was enough, we found that many dogs also experience inflammation in their intestines, so yet another product is necessary to deal with that, Adizone (for cats, you must use a special formulation just for their delicate systems: Adizone-C).

That means today’s Parvo is a much more aggressive virus that requires a counter-attack on multiple fronts in order to have a decent chance to heal your dogs.

Parvo is continuing to evolve, and so must we.

This is why we spend a lot of time researching and refining our Parvo game plan. You will find lots of sites that are still talking about protocols that worked 5 years ago (or more). The Parvo of the 70′s, 80′, and 90′s was bad, but it pales by comparison to the new strains, such as the 2c Strain.
